Gannon wrestlers Nate Ross (R-Sr.), Eric Lewandowski (R-Sr.) and George McGuire (R-Jr.) are this week's Co-Gannon Male Student-Athletes of the Week after representing the Golden Knights at the 2018 NCAA National Championships in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. After winning the NCAA Division II Super Region One 165-pound title, Ross defeated the nation's 12th-ranked wrestler in Adam State's Koery Windham with a sudden-victory 3-1 at the national championships. McGuire opened his 149-pound action with a pin of Adams State's Natrelle Demison in one minute and 42 seconds. Demison was ranked 12th in NCAA Division II. Lewandowski completed Gannon's trio of national qualifiers while making his second career national championship appearance. Ross, McGuire and Lewandowski helped Gannon finish 37th in the national championship team standings.
