Jones led the Gannon baseball team to a four-game split at Lake Erie last weekend, as well as an extra-inning victory over Fredonia State last Wednesday. The redshirt freshman hit .470 with a 1.235 slugging percentage in those five games. He hit four home runs in five games last week, including a game-winning blast Wednesday. Jones drove in three runs and hit a home run in the top of the 11th inning to help the Knights win 5-4 at Fredonia State. He hit two more homers in a sweep at Lake Erie Saturday, scoring three times in the two contests. The Pittsburgh, Pa., native posted another homer in the first game at LEC Sunday. He compiled eight hits, seven RBIs, six runs scored and a double last week.
