Harpster led the Gannon baseball team with a .385 batting average, .462 slugging percentage, and .500 on-base percentage during a four-game series at Lake Erie last weekend. The true freshman drove in three runs during a 9-2 victory in the series opener with a bases-loaded walk, a sacrifice fly, and an RBI single. He was 4-for-7 with two runs and one RBI during Saturday’s twinbill. Harpster hit .625 (5-8) with runners on base and 1.000 (4-4) with runners in scoring position last week. He has five multiple-hit performances in the last nine games.
