Chase was a triple-winner for the Gannon men's swimming and diving team during back-and-forth affair against local rival Penn State Behrend, helping the Golden Knights post a 155-138 victory. In the last event of the night, Penn State Behrend needed to win the 400-yard freestyle relay and have another team place second or third to win the dual meet. However, two Gannon teams were up to the task. A foursome of Logan Bissell, Adam Chrzanowski, Mike Kneidinger and Chase came down the stretch neck-and-neck with Behrend's top team. However, Chase eventually touched the wall a half-second sooner (3:16.84) than the Behrend unit (3:17.34) to clinched the team victory. In addition to swimming the final leg for the winning 400-yard freestyle relay team, the junior won the 50-yard butterfly (23.84) and the 50-yard freestyle (22.62). Chase has recorded eight PSAC-qualifying times this season. He has won four individual events this season and been part of five winning relay teams.
