Lewis led the Gannon women's soccer team to a perfect 2-0 week with victories against Roberts Wesleyan and Lock Haven. The Lady Knights were ranked No. 25 in last week's United Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll and No. 3 in the United Soccer Coaches Atlantic regional rankings. Lewis scored four of Gannon's five goals last week. The sophomore forward opened the week with the first and third goals of a 3-0 win at Roberts Wesleyan. Both scores were unassisted and came after she created turnovers in the Raiders' defensive end. Lewis then provided the Lady Knights with all their scoring during a key 2-1 conference victory at Lock Haven. Trailing 1-0, she scored unassisted with 24 seconds left in the first half after beating a defender and scoring from 20 yards out. Lewis later netted the game-winner in the 58th minute off an assist from Sarah Kaiser. Lewis became the 13th Lady Knight in program history to record 40 career points despite being only a sophomore. She also entered Gannon's all-time top 10 with her 19th career goal. Lewis has scored four game-winning goals this season, giving her eight during her two-year career.
