Westrick led the Gannon men's cross country team to a title last Saturday at the Fredonia State Invitational. The sophomore took home first place individually with a 5k time of 15 minutes and 56.1 seconds, finishing No. 1 among the 65-runner field. He became the first Golden Knight to win an individual title since at least 2007 while posting the best 5k time of his career. Gannon won its first invitational since opening the 2015 campaign with a title at the Davis & Elkins Invitational (September 5).
