Brueckner was also named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Women's Soccer Player of the Week. Brueckner led Gannon to a perfect 2-0 week with two goals, three assists and seven points during those two matches. The freshman midfielder started the week by helping the Lady Knights shut out 12th-ranked Edinboro 4-0 with a goal and two assists. She assisted on the first two Gannon goals during the 19th and 26th minutes, before adding an insurance score in the 61st minute. At Mansfield, Brueckner again assisted on the first goal to give Gannon a 1-0 lead 3:32 into the second half. As she did against Edinboro, she completed the scoring against the Mountaineers with an unassisted insurance goal during the 65th minute. Brueckner leads Gannon in assists (8) and points (14) through eight matches. The Valencia, Pa., native leads the PSAC in assists and ranks second in points. She needs only one more assist to tie Gannon's single-season record with nine regular-season matches remaining. Gannon is off to its best eight-match start in school history with a 7-1 record.
