Colosi hit .455 with an .818 slugging percentage and .500 on-base percentage during three games against Slippery Rock last weekend. The junior third baseman recorded two runs, one double, one home run, four RBIs and nine total bases. He also generated a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage with six fielding opportunities. Colosi hit .500 (2-4) with runners on base, .500 (2-4) with runners in scoring position and 1.000 (4-4) with two outs. In addition, he had a hit during his only at-bat with the bases loaded. All four of his RBIs came with two outs while he raised his average 11 points to a .340 mark. Colosi recorded a hit during all three games, extending his hit streak to four games. He began the week by going 2-for-4 with one run, three RBIs and one double during an 11-5 victory against Slippery Rock. Colosi recorded his team-best seventh multiple-RBI game of the season with his third performance of at least three RBIs. Meanwhile, he moved into a tie for the team lead with his 12th multiple-hit game of the season. Colosi ended the weekend with his first home run of the season during the first game of a scheduled doubleheader at Slippery Rock, before assuming the team lead in multiple-hit games with his 13th. He leads Gannon in doubles (10) and RBIs (29) while ranking second among Golden Knights in hits (43), second in total bases (60) and third in runs (23).
