Cox hit .625 with a .625 slugging percentage and .625 on-base percentage during a doubleheader at California (Pa.) last Friday in the Golden Knights’ only action of the week. The junior outfielder hit .800 (4-5) with runners on base. He recorded a hit during his only at-bat with runners in scoring position and raised his average 21 points to a .396 season average. Cox opened the doubleheader with a 3-for-4 showing and one run during a nine-inning affair. He had a career-high three hits for the 15th time while recording his ninth multiple-hit game of the season. Cox produced his team-high 10th multiple-hit game during the nightcap, finishing 2-for-4. He leads Gannon in average (.396), hits (38), triples (4), total bases (50) and stolen bases (4) through 30 games.
