Weiser was a triple-winner for the Gannon men's swim team last Saturday at NCAA Division I Canisius. The junior captured gold medals in the 50-yard freestyle (22.03) and 100-yard freestyle (48.92). Both times met Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) qualifying standards. The 50-yard freestyle time was his third-fastest of the season while he secured his second title in the event this year. The 100-yard freestyle championship was his first of the season. Weiser later swam the opening leg for the winning 200-yard freestyle relay team that produced a time of one minute and 29.16 seconds. Gannon has won the relay event three times this season with Weiser swimming first.
