Mitchell exploded for 29 points, four assists and three rebounds while leading the Gannon women's basketball team to an 83-71 victory against East Stroudsburg, who resides in first place among PSAC Eastern Division programs. It represented the Lady Knights' only action of the week. The junior guard finished 10-of-14 from the field and hit a career-high eight three-pointers in 14 attempts. She scored 16 of Gannon's first 30 points, including 12 during the first quarter. Mitchell has reached double digits in scoring during 10 consecutive games. She leads the PSAC in scoring (19.2) and three-pointers (29).
