Carpenter led both sides in tackles with 17 last Saturday against No. 12 Indiana (Pa.). The redshirt senior safety recorded five solo stops and 12 assisted tackles. He was consistent throughout the game with three tackles during the first quarter, five in the second, five during the third and four in the fourth. Carpenter shattered his previous career-high in tackles by five. His previous career-high of 12 was duplicated in back-to-back weeks against Mercyhurst and Edinboro. Carpenter leads Gannon in solo tackles (44) through nine games. He ranks second among Golden Knights in total tackles with 82.
