King recorded four goals, one assist, five points, five ground balls, 14 draw controls and one caused turnover during a pair of women's lacrosse matches last week against No. 7 Mercyhurst and East Stroudsburg. The sophomore midfielder began the week with one goal, two draw controls, two ground balls and one caused turnover against Mercyhurst. She finished the week with three goals, one assist, 12 draw controls and three ground balls against East Stroudsburg. The Warriors were listed among others receiving votes in the latest Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Top 20 Poll. King recorded her third hat trick of the season and 10th of her career against East Stroudsburg. She also set a career-high with 12 draw controls, surpassing her previous mark of 10 set during an 18-7 home victory against Lake Erie on March 19, 2015. King leads Gannon in assists (6), points (23), draw controls (41), ground balls (23) and caused turnovers (13) through nine matches. She is Gannon’s second-leading scorer with 17 goals.
