Groeppler helped the Gannon men’s swim team finish fourth at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships for the fourth consecutive season with a pair of school records, two NCAA “B” cut times and an All-PSAC honor last weekend. The senior helped the 200-yard medley relay team (1:33.31) earn all-conference honors with a third-place finish by swimming the third leg. Individually, he broke school records in the 200-yard IM (1:53.86) and 100-yard butterfly (49.64). Groeppler recorded NCAA “B” cuts times during both the prelims (49.64) and finals (49.68) of the 100-yard butterfly. He has captured five individual titles in the 100-yard butterfly this season. Groeppler has recorded PSAC-qualifying times in 22 of 25 races this season, including all 11 100-yard butterfly and all six 200-yard butterfly races he has competed in.
