Walters helped the Gannon volleyball team advanced to the NCAA Division II Sweet Sixteen for the first time since 1993 last week. The senior setter was named to the NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional All-Tournament team after averaging 10.9 assists, 2.8 digs and 0.9 blocks in three NCAA Tournament matches. She also added six service aces and three kills. Walters opened the NCAA Tournament with her 10th double-double of the season, producing 40 assists and 12 digs during a 3-1 victory against Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Champion Shippensburg. She also recorded four service aces and a career-high six blocks against the Raiders. Walters followed with 34 assists and eight digs during a 3-0 sweep of West Chester in the second round. She concluded the weekend with 35 assists, eight digs and three blocks against Wheeling Jesuit in the NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional finals. Her performance during the week placed her sixth all-time at Gannon with 182 career service aces.
