Danielson led the Gannon men's cross country team to a fourth-place finish at the Mansfield Invitational last Saturday. The sophomore finished second out of 38 runners with a time of 15:53, finishing only two seconds behind the individual champion. He recorded his second consecutive top-three finish to start the season while running a 5K race for the first time in his collegiate career. Gannon has recorded back-to-back top-four finishes to open the season after winning the Davis & Elkins Invitational the previous week.
