Jackson went the distance on the mound during the Gannon baseball team's second game against No. 21 Mercyhurst Sunday afternoon at Gannon University Field. The reshirt sophomore allowed three runs on six hits, but all three runs were unearned. He struck out two and walked none. Jackson recorded his third complete game of the season and eighth of his two-year collegiate career. He owns Gannon's lowest earned run average this season among pitchers with at least 13 innings pitched. Jackson is 2-2 with a 3.10 ERA in 29 innings of work. He has struck out 15 and walked only four.
