Daniels was one of six Gannon wrestlers to posted victories against two nationally-ranked teams last week as the Golden Knights defeated No. 17 Ashland (25-9) and No. 16 Kutztown (37-3). The sophomore posted a lopsided 15-6 victory against Ashland, followed by a pin 1:04 into his match against Kutztown. Both victories came in the 174-pound weight class. The Harborcreek, Pa., native improved to 5-8 overall with the victories, including a stellar 5-2 mark in dual matches. His pin against Kutztown was his first of the season. Daniels has 13 overall victories and eight dual wins during his two-year career.
