Blake helped the No. 2 Gannon women's basketball team sweep a pair of games last week at the Oahu Classic in Honolulu, Hawaii, defeating Chaminade (88-55) and BYU-Hawaii (80-49). The junior forward averaged 16.5 points and six rebounds despite playing only 33 combined minutes in both games. She shot 61.9 percent (13-21) from the field and 70 percent (7-10) from the free throw line. Blake began the classic with nine points and six rebounds in 15 minutes against Chaminade, hitting 4-of-7 field goal attempts. She followed with a career-high 24 points and six rebounds in 18 minutes against BYU-Hawaii, going 9-of-14 from the floor and 6-of-7 from the charity stripe. Blake has reached double figures in scoring four times during the first six games this season, producing double-doubles twice.
