Ray was Gannon's top golfer at last weekend's Mercyhurst Spring Invitational, finishing seventh out of 49 golfers with a two-round total of 162. The senior was tied for 14th place after an 85 during Saturday's first round despite horrible weather conditions that included hail, wind and rain. She jumped seven spots during the final round with a score of 77. The seventh-place finish and 77 score both represented season-bests. Ray has recorded three top-20 finishes this season.
