Blake led the No. 7 Gannon women’s basketball team into the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championship Game last week. The sophomore forward averaged nearly a double-double in three PSAC Tournament games, posting 14.7 points and 9.7 rebounds per game. She shot 53.1 percent (17-32) from the field. Blake began the week with 20 points and eight rebounds during a 77-50 victory against California (Pa.) in the PSAC Quarterfinals, hitting 9-of-13 shots. The scoring total fell one shy of her career-high. Blake barely missed her sixth double-double of the season with 10 points and nine rebounds during a 63-62 victory against Millersville during the conference semifinals. Her most important two points came at the end of regulation when she drained a tough baseline jumper as time expired for a one-point win. Blake concluded the tournament with her sixth double-double of the season during the PSAC Championship game, totaling 14 points and a season-high 12 rebounds. She has reached double digits in scoring 20 times this season, including each of the last five.
