Papich led the No. 9 Gannon women’s basketball team to a perfect 2-0 week with road victories at Mercyhurst (62-50) and Lock Haven (76-66). The victory at Lock Haven clinched the program’s first PSAC Western Division regular-season title since the 2009-10 campaign. Papich averaged 14 points, eight rebounds, 2.5 steals and two assists during two games. The junior forward recorded her second double-double of the season and fourth of her career with 19 points and 10 rebounds at Lock Haven. She added a season-high four steals and two assists against the Bald Eagles. Papich has reached double digits in scoring 17 times this season, including seven during the last eight games.
