Carter was a double-winner during the Gannon men's swim team during a 120.5-110.5 victory at Fredonia State last Friday. It was the Golden Knights’ only action of the week. Carter recorded PSAC-qualifying times while winning the 500-yard freestyle (5:00.39) and the 200-yard IM (2:03.72). He was a also part of a third-place 200-yard medlay relay finish. It marked his first victory in two 500-yard freestyle races this season. In addition, Carter recorded his second win in three 200-yard IM races. He has recorded five individual victories and been part of three relay wins in 2012. The Yorktown, Va., native has recorded PSAC-qualifying times every time he swam the 100-yard freestyle, the 200-yard freestyle, the 500-yard freestyle, the 200-yard IM, the 400-yard IM and the 200-yard backstroke this season --- a total of 19 conference-qualifying times.
