Mitchell led the Gannon women's basketball team to a perfect 2-0 week with victories against Mercyhurst (85-57) and Millersville (65-56). The senior guard averaged 18 points, eight assists, and 1.5 rebounds during the week. She shot 52.4 percent (11-21) from the field, 50 percent (6-12) from three-point range and 100 percent (8-8) from the free throw line. Mitchell began the week with a season-highs in points (28), three-pointers (6) and assists (9) against Mercyhurst. She finished 10-of-15 (66.7%) from the floor, 6-of-9 (66.7%) from long range and 2-of-2 from the charity stripe. As a result, Mitchell received the Porreco Pride of Erie Game Changer Award given to the student-athlete who had to most impact on the outcome of the Gannon-Mercyhurst game. She followed with eight points and seven assists against Millersville, including a perfect 6-of-6 showing from the free throw line. She leads Gannon in scoring (16.8), assists (75), three-pointers (46) and free throw percentage (91.4) through 18 games.
