Bujdos was spectacular during her first collegiate event last Saturday at the Gannon-Mercyhurst Cross Country Invitational at Pleasant Ridge Park in Fairview, Pennsylvania. The true freshman was the first female runner to cross the finish line, completing the 6K course in 19 minutes and 34.6 seconds. Her first-place finish helped Gannon win its first title at the event since 2009. Bujdos narrowly beat out freshman teammate Nicole Bubie (Rochester, N.Y./Odyssey Academy) by 2.9 seconds.
