King was part of four victories for the Gannon women's swimming and diving team during a convincing 226-55 victory against local rival Penn State Behrend. The sophomore was a gold medalist in the 50-yard backstroke (29.44), the 50-yard freestyle (25.83) and the 100-yard backstroke (1:03.43). She also swam the first leg (29.40) for the winning 200-yard medley relay team (1:52.81). She has won the 100-yard backstroke three times in five attempts this season. King won titles in the 50-yard backstroke and 50-yard freestyle against Penn State Behrend despite swimming the events for the first time this season.
