After entering the Gannon men's soccer match against Urbana just 30 second prior, Adam Sharbaugh broke a scoreless tie by scoring in the 82nd minute. The goal would prove to be the game winner as the Golden Knights went on to earn a 2-0 win over the Blue Knights, who beat No. 5 Mercyhurst 1-0 last week. The ball was played up by Faycal Benjelloun and then Sharbaugh beat the keeper one-on-one, netting the score in the lower right corner of the goal. Sharbaugh then assisted on Gannon’s insurance goal just two minutes later. After the ball was played towards the net, Sharbaugh set up Tyler Hollingsworth for the goal with a header placed directly in front of the goal.
