Brosius was perfect in five at-bats for the Gannon baseball team during a doubleheader split against California (Pa.) last Thursday. It was Gannon’s only action of the week. The junior outfielder went 2-for-2 with an RBI during a 6-3 victory in the first game. His two-out RBI single in the fourth gave the Golden Knights a 5-0 lead. Brosius went 3-for-3 during a 4-2 loss in the nightcap. During a seventh-inning rally, he singled to put runners on first and third with one out, but the Golden Knights were unable to get closer than 4-2. Brosius was 4-for-4 with runners on base and 3-for-3 with two outs. He increased his average 77 points during those two games, moving from .217 to .294.
