Danielle Tucker achieved season-high totals in several categories during Gannon’s 57-52 victory against Urbana on December 18. The redshirt freshman, who was also named PSAC Freshman of the Week, netted 15 points and seven rebounds in 25 minutes of action. Both the rebound and point totals are double her previous season highs. Tucker was 7-of-13 from the field, including two crucial buckets in the final minutes of the game. Tucker gave Gannon a lead for the first time since early in the second half with a bucket at the 1:51 mark. Tucker extended the lead to four points with another score with 1:07 left to play. She added a free throw in the final seconds to ice the win for the Gannon. The Rochester, N.Y., native is averaging seven points and 3.4 rebounds for the 4-1 Lady Knights.
