Jeff Jones hit .461 in helping Gannon sweep Clarion during a four-game series last weekend. The redshirt freshman broke a 2-2 tie with a two-run homer in the top of the seventh inning, leading Gannon to a 4-2 victory April 2. He recorded two doubles, driving in three runs, in the Golden Knights’ 5-3 win over Clarion April 3. Jones had six RBIs and a stolen base in the four games. He hit .600 (6-10) with runners on base and .667 (4-6) with runners in scoring position during the series.
