Carlozzi helped the Gannon baseball team earn a split against Slippery Rock last Friday with a 1-0 shutout in the second game of a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division doubleheader at Gannon University Field. The sophomore lefthander tossed a three-hitter while recording his first career shutout and third career complete game. He struck out five and walked one. Carlozzi had three 1-2-3 innings and only allowed one runner past second base. Only two Slippery Rock players reached second base after the first inning.
