Petrella clinched Gannon's 31-14 dual victory at rival Mercyhurst last Saturday. The junior was aggressive throughout the 184-pound match and defeated Eric Lundgren 3-1. His win gave Gannon a 28-8 lead with two matches left, clinching the rivalry victory. Petrella had only wrestled twice prior to Saturday's match and moved to 2-1 with the decision. He owns a career record of 22-24.
