Rzymek led the Gannon women's swimming and diving team to a second-place finish out of 10 teams last weekend at the Mid-Season Invitational hosted by the Wooster Invitational. The true freshman was a member of four winning relay teams and posted three top-three individual finishes at the meet. On the final day of the event, Rzymek was a member of the winning 400-yard freestyle relay team. The group qualified for nationals with a time of 3:31.03 in the victory. Ryzmek set a school record in the 200 butterfly, placing third in the race. Rzymek was a member of the winning 200 freestyle relay that set a school record during the first day of the invitational. She also helped the 400-yard medley relay team win gold and then finished third in the 50-yard freestyle race. She swam the third leg of the winning 200-yard medley relay that set another school record during the second day of competition. She placed second in the 100-yard butterfly as well.
