Lodge also begins her second season as a member of the Gannon coaching staff. Her responsibilities include overseeing post players, academics, strength and conditioning, film exchange, individual camps and scouting.

Prior to her arrival at Gannon, Lodge served as an assistant coach at Evergreen High School in Lyons, Ohio. The Vikings posted a 16-6 record during the 2007-08 season en route to their first Sectional Tournament title in 25 years and a District Tournament appearance.

“I am extremely excited to be part of a winning basketball program with a high academic reputation,” said Lodge upon her hiring. “I am looking forward to working with Coach Wright and want to help Gannon win a National Championship with my experience as a coach and player.”

Lodge also worked as a personal trainer while coaching at Evergreen High School. She provided one-on-one training with athletes interested in basketball while concentrating on their cardiovascular fitness, strength training, and nutrition.

The Port Moody, British Columbia native was a four-year standout (2002-06) at NCAA Division I Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina. Lodge was named to the Atlantic Sun All-Freshman team and received the Calloway Defensive Award during her first collegiate season. A member of the Dean’s List, she was a three-time Atlantic Sun All-Academic selection and graduated with a 3.4 grade-point average. Lodge played in 109 collegiate games, starting 82. She averaged 7.1 points and grabbed 463 rebounds during her career.

Lodge continued to play basketball following college, playing for the Div 1 Hogsbo Basketball Club in Gothenburg, Sweden during the 2006-07 season. The squad won the South Conference with an 18-2 record and finished third in the national tournament. Meanwhile, she served as a junior varsity assistant coach at the same time, leading the JV squad to a 17-3 mark.

Lodge was a four-year letterwinner (1998-02) at Port Moody High School in British Columbia. The former post player led the team in scoring, guiding the program to three Provincial appearances. The squad finished second, third, and fifth during those appearances. She also played on the British Columbia Provincial team during the summers of 2000 and 2001.
