Radwan begins his first season as a member of the Gannon coaching staff. The former Gannon baseball standout returns to his alma mater two years after completing a stellar career.

The multi-talented player helped Gannon on the mound and in the batter’s box. Radwan completed his career 11th all-time at Gannon in at-bats (475), 11th in games played (161) and 13th in hits (141). The Gannon archives only contain pitching stats from 2000 to the present. He ranks No. 1 all-time at Gannon in strikeouts per nine innings (8.55), second in victories (11), third in lowest opponent batting average and fourth in earned run average during that time.

Radwan’s four-year collegiate career at Gannon includes a .297 average, 141 hits, 63 runs, 66 RBIs, a .356 slugging percentage and a .369 on-base percentage. On the mound, he recorded 11 wins, 18 complete games, three shutouts and 215 strikeouts.

The Farnham, N.Y., native finished his senior campaign with the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference’s third-lowest ERA (3.05). Radwan ranked 38th among all NCAA Division II pitchers in walks allowed per nine innings (1.6), 68th in hits allowed per nine innings (7.84), 73rd in ERA and 75th in strikeouts per nine innings (8.85). In the classroom, he was named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District 2 second team.

Radwan still owns three single-season marks worthy of Gannon’s all-time top 10. His 65 strikeouts as a junior and 81 punchouts as a senior rank fourth and ninth, respectively. His six wins as a senior rank fourth all-time at Gannon.

A three-time conference all-academic selection, Radwan was also named to the All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) honorable-mention team as a sophomore.

Radwan graduated magna cum laude from Gannon with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary/Early Childhood Education in 2010.
