Davis begins his first season as a member of the Gannon coaching staff. A three-year letterwinner for Gannon from 2008-10, he will assist with the offensive line during the 2011 campaign.
The Cheswick, Pa., native made 12 career catches during the last three seasons, including a career-best six receptions for 103 yards and one touchdown as a junior. He averaged 17.2 yards per catch during that season.
Davis concluded his collegiate career with three receptions for 58 yards in 2010. His final career numbers included 12 catches for 190 yards and two touchdowns. Originally a quarterback when he arrived at Gannon in 2006, Davis also proved to be one Gannon's best blocking tight ends during his career.
