Piazza begins her first season on the Gannon women’s soccer coaching staff, but her name is very familiar to Gannon fans. The former defensive wiz concluded her collegiate career last year after being part of the first women’s soccer team in school history to play in the NCAA Tournament. A four-year starter, Piazza never missed a start during her career. She received all-region accolades five times, including a National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-Atlantic Region first-team selection each of the last two seasons. The Brampton, Ontario native was a three-time all-conference first-team honoree. Piazza scored three career goals despite playing her entire career in the back.
