"It's hard to say goodbye to GUCCD, as it's all I've known for the last 11 years. Â That program has made me who I am, and I can only contribute my growth and success to what I've learned during my time as a student- athlete, alum, and coach of such an amazing program. I know that I will miss coaching, but I am so excited for this new journey," Makay said. "I cannot wait to continue to contribute to Gannon Athletics' success and legacy in new and exciting ways. I must thank my amazing staff, my colleagues, the administration, and my team for supporting me and pushing me to be the best version of myself. I wouldn't be where I am without them. I can't wait to get started on this new path."
