Regan begins her first year as an athletic trainer at Gannon University in 2017-18. She will be the main athletic trainer for women’s volleyball and women’s lacrosse.
Regan most recently served as an athletic training student for the last three years (2014-17) at the University of Michigan of the Big 10 Conference, providing daily care and first aid for student-athletes. She also assisted certified athletic trainers with the prevention, evaluation, management, rehabilitation and documentation of acute and chronic injuries for the football, men’s lacrosse, men’s soccer and women’s volleyball teams.
The Vestal, N.Y., native spent additional time as an athletic training student for Ann Arbor Skyline (Mich.) High School and Probility Therapy Services while at the University of Michigan. Regan worked with the football, field hockey, soccer, volleyball and cross country teams at Ann Arbor Skyline. She aided licensed physical therapists and athletic trainers with the evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic orthopedic injuries at Probility Therapy Services. Regan’s resume also includes lengthy experiences with Special Olympics and University of Michigan summer camps.
Regan graduated with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from the University of Michigan in April of 2017. She is an active member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA).
