Former Gannon runner Drew Tordella has served as a volunteer assistant on the Gannon coaching staff since 2021. He was a member of the Gannon men’s cross country team from 2010-13.
 
As a Golden Knight he was a four-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete and was a three-time Division II Athletics Directors Association (ADA) Academic Achievement Award recipient (2011-2013).
 
Tordella competed in cross country and track & field for Saegertown High School from 2005-10. He was a two-time PIAA qualifier in cross country (2008, 2009) and was also a two-time District 10 qualifier in track & field (2009, 2010).
 
In addition to coaching at Gannon, Tordella has served at his other alma mater as well. He has been a volunteer assistant coach with Saegertown since 2018 and currently runs Saegertown’s track club.
 
Tordella graduated from Gannon in 2014 with a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering. He graduated Summa Cum Laude and was an Honors Scholar. He resides in Erie and is employed as an Air Quality Engineer for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
