2016-17: Went 10-4 overall and 5-0 in dual competition at 184 … generated the 10th undefeated dual season in program history … kicked off the campaign with a sixth-place finish at the Mount Union Invitational … won his first two decisions, before having to default during his final two matches … didn’t wrestle for two months after the Mount Union Invitational … rattled off eight consecutive victories upon his return in mid-January … was perfect in five dual bouts at the beginning of the run … opened the NCAA Division II Super Regional One with three consecutive victories, moving into the title match … disposed of West Liberty’s Nathan Dawson (2-1), Kutztown’s Collin Schildt (F, 2:02) and Mercyhurst’s Mike Green (9-4) en route to the championship bout … finished runner-up at the NCAA Division II Super Regional One, qualifying for his first-ever national championship appearance.
2015-16: Finished 11-4 overall and 1-1 in dual matches while wrestling at 184 … named D2Wrestle.com Super Region One Wrestler of the Week on November 24 after winning the gold medal at the Findlay Open … defeated Wheeling Jesuit's Garrett Reinwald 2-1 on the first tiebreaker during his initial match at the Findlay Open, before defeating a pair of NCAA Division I wrestlers with a pin of Ohio's Gabe Dzuro (2:16) and 5-2 victory against Michigan State's Wesley Maskill in the semifinals … captured the Findlay Open championship with a 15-9 win against Wheeling Jesuit's Ryan Winslow … opened the season with an individual title at the Mount Union Invitational, producing a perfect 3-0 mark … won the first eight matches of his campaign while winning two titles … split four matches at the NCAA Division I-heavy Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships to finish fourth … defeated Mercyhurst’s Angelo Bortoluzzi at the conference championships … wrestled twice during the second semester … appeared in his first career dual match against Shippensburg, earning a 16-8 major decision against Hunter Fenk.
2014-15: Redshirted … went 8-6 while wrestling unattached in the 184-pound division at the Mercyhurst, Cleveland State, Purple Raider and Jamestown Jayhawk opens … won the Jamestown Jayhawk Open with a perfect 3-0 record, defeating Penn State DuBois’ Jay Prentice 9-4 in the finals … advanced to the title bout with his lone pin of the season, needing only 27 seconds to end his match against unattached wrestler Jason Kromer … defeated two NCAA Division I wrestlers at the Cleveland State Open, recording a 10-2 major decision against Notre Dame’s Mike Meekins and 7-5 victory against Michigan State’s Drew Barnes … opened the season by winning three of five matches at the Mercyhurst Open … began his collegiate career with a 4-2 win against Lake Erie’s Doug Hicks at the Mercyhurst Open.
High School: Wrestled for head coach Mike Denver at Brick Memorial (N.J.) High School … was a four-time district finalist, winning the title three times … reached the regional finals twice, capturing one championship … was a two-time state medalist, finishing fifth and seventh respectively … produced a 102-30 career record … helped Brick Memorial win the Group 4 state championship … was part of two Brick Memorial teams that advance to the New Jersey Group finals.
