Desrosiers is expected to play a versatile role, with the ability to play both on the outside and in the back row. Also will serve as a co-captain in 2014.

2013: Played in 25 matches and 91 sets despite facing injuries through much of the season … named a PSAC Scholar-Athlete … received the NCAA Division II Athletics Directors Association (ADA) Academic Achievement Award … finished fifth on the team in kills (131) and sixth in digs (242) … reached double figures in kills six times, including a career-best 17 in a key late-season win over Seton Hill … racked up 16 kills twice against Lock Haven and Millersville in PSAC crossover action … picked up a career-best 20 digs at Clarion … scored a career-best 19.5 points and picked up 19 digs in a five-set win at Lock Haven.

2012: Enjoyed a solid sophomore season in which she made major contributions as a starter in the backcourt ... finished third on the team in aces (28) and fourth in digs (247) ... contributed 31 kills, mostly from the back row ... reached double digits in digs eight times, including a season-high 14 against Kutztown ... had three kills and contributed 11 digs during Gannon's regular-season victory against Lock Haven ... equaled her season-high in assists (3) and served match point during a PSAC quarterfinal win against Mercyhurst ... recorded a season-best 14 kills, .560 hitting percentage, and 17 points during a win against Cheyney ... had 13 digs during Gannon’s semifinal victory against Shippensburg ... racked up a season-high five aces during a win against Alderson-Broaddus.

2011: Played in all 32 matches, appearing in 105 of 115 sets … finished third on the team in digs (198) and reception percentage (.902) … averaged 1.89 digs, 0.46 kills and 0.59 points per set … finished three matches with double-digit digs, including 15 during a five-set win over Edinboro … finished eight matches without a reception error when having at least 10 chances … was perfect on 22 serve receptions during a 3-1 win over Slippery Rock … recorded her first double-digit kill performance with 10 against Cheyney … hit .714 with four aces and six digs during the 3-0 win over the Wolves … totaled 6.5 points with six kills and a block assist during a 3-1 win over rival Mercyhurst … finished the season without a ball handling or blocking error.   

High School: Played for head coach Mia Thomas at North Canton Hoover (Ohio) High School … was a four-year varsity letterwinner … led Hoover to its first undefeated regular season (22-0)  and first state ranking (No. 7) in school history as a senior … named Federal League, Stark County and District IV Player of the Year in 2010 … selected to the All-Ohio second team as a senior … graduated as Hoover’s all-time record holder for service points and aces … holds records for solo blocks in a season and service points in a match … led Hoover to back-to-back undefeated Federal League championships … named to the All-Federal League, All-Stark County and All-District IV first team three straight years … was an Associated Press Scholar with a 4.43 GPA … ranked 20th among her graduating class of 392 students … was a member of the National Honor Society … received four Academic Letters … served as Hoover’s representative to the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Banquet … represented Hoover at the Project Lead the Way national conference in Austin, Texas.
