Biography

At the time of her graduation, Johnson is ninth on Gannon’s single-season hitting percentage rankings (.333 in 2018)…. Ranks seventh all-time in school history in blocks/set (0.91)… Is sixth all-time in kill percentage (.307).
 
2018 (Sr.): Appeared in 31 matches with 26 starts as a senior… Saw action in 90 total sets as a middle blocker… Lone senior for the Lady Knights on 2018 squad… Was among the most efficient hitters on the team with 137 kills on 340 attacks for a .309 hitting percentage… Added four assists… Was a force at the net with 95.0 total blocks… Posted 10 kills against Edinboro (10/12/18)… Was strong at the net in the NCAA Atlantic Regional, assisting on seven blocks against Shepherd (11/15/18) and eight against Seton Hill (11/16/18)… Smacked three kills in the PSAC Championship match against Seton Hill (11/10/18)… Hit .429 with three kills and four block assists on Senior Day against Shippensburg (10/20/18). Warrior Invitational … produced at least five kills in a match eight times … finished with a season-best eight kills during a 3-0 win against Lock Haven, generating a .438 hitting percentage with one error in 16 attacks … recorded 14 kills and no errors in 21 attacks during 3-0 victories against Roberts Wesleyan and Lindenwood on the same day of the Urbana Tournament … finished the day with a .667 hitting percentage … killed four of her five attempts during a 3-0 win at Millersville … was perfect in five attacks and ripped off a season-high four service aces during a 3-0 victory at Cheyney … blocked at least one attack during her first 12 appearances, including at least three attempts seven times during that stretch … rejected a season-high six attacks at Shippensburg.

2016: Played in 26 matches, starting 22 … saw action in 76 sets … produced a .333 hitting percentage, representing the eighth-highest single-season mark in program history among players with at least 100 attacks … ranked second among Lady Knights in blocks (71) and fifth in kills (92) … opened the season with four kills and seven blocks during a 3-2 victory against Cedarville at the Tony Banner Invitational … generated nine kills and six blocks during a 3-1 win against Merrimack during the next day’s action … produced at least four kills in a match 14 times … totaled a season-high 12 kills and blocked six attempts during a 3-2 victory against Fairmont State in the NCAA Division II Tournament first round … hit .333 against the Fighting Falcons, committing only four errors in 24 attacks … blocked a season-best eight attempts to go along with four kills during a 3-0 sweep of Pitt-Johnstown in the PSAC championship match … had at least four blocks in a match nine times … hit .500 or better seven times.

2015: Saw action in four matches as a true freshman … played in eight sets … recorded her first career kill during a 3-0 sweep of Dominican (N.Y.) … added a second kill and her first two career blocks during another sweep of Concord … recorded her first career dig at Indiana (Pa.) … had a block assist during a 3-1 win against Millersville.

High School: Played for head coach Terri Spann at Basha (Ariz.) High School … was the fourth freshman in program history to play on the varsity level … became a starting middle hitter as a sophomore … served as a team captain … named to the All-State Division I honorable-mention team … was a two-time all-conference selection, being named to the first and honorable-mention teams … received the Academic Athlete Award for a having a grade point average of 3.8 or higher all four years … was part of a program that ranked eighth among Division I programs in the state for three consecutive seasons (freshman-junior) … helped Basha rise among the state's top four for the first time in school history as a senior.
