Davis begins her sixth season as a member of the Gannon coaching staff in 2013. The Lady Knights have won 104 matches with Davis on the sideline, compared to only 52 losses during that time. The program is also 63-28 in conference play during the last six seasons. The results have equaled 20-win campaigns and NCAA Division II Tournament appearances during each of the last four years.
The 2012 season reached new heights when Gannon captured its first-ever conference championship, winning both the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Tournament and the PSAC Western Division regular-season titles.
The North Ridgeville, Ohio, native served as an assistant for Lock Haven University prior to coming to Gannon. She helped guide the Bald Eagles to the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) championship, the Atlantic Region championship and an Elite Eight appearance in 2006. Davis has coached high school players at numerous camps since entering the coaching field, including assignments at Gannon’s All-Skills camp and Lock Haven’s team camp.
Davis, formerly Jenn Thompson, led Lock Haven to a pair of PSAC championships and three Atlantic Region championships as a player. The Bald Eagles made three Elite Eight appearances during her playing days.
Davis received her Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Management from Lock Haven in 2006. She is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. Davis is also working toward completing her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at Gannon University.
Davis and her husband Seth reside in Erie.
