  • Title
    Women's and Men's Diving Coach
Evanoff begins his second season as a member of the Gannon swimming and diving coaching staff. He will serve primarily as the diving coach for both the women's and men's teams.

The veteran diving coach has tutored arguably the best diving career in school history with Diana Rocco during the last three seasons. Rocco earned all-america honors in both the one-meter and three-meter diving events as a freshman and junior, as well as securing all-america accolades in the one-meter as a sophomore. In the process, she became the school’s first five-time All-American. The figure represents three more than any other diver (female or male) in school history. Rocco is also the only diver (female or male) in school history to earn all-america honors in multiple championships.

Evanoff will be serving in a dual role as he is also the diving coach at Allegheny College, where he is entering his sixth year. Evanoff began his coaching experience on the high school level. Since 2000, he has served as the head diving coach at General McLane High School in Edinboro, Pa., and later moved on to the head swimming and diving coach position at General McLane. He also runs a diving clinic at Fairview High School through the Fairview Recreation Authority. Evanoff has seen his swimmers and divers compete regularly for district and state championships over the last 11 years.

A resident of McKean, Pa., Evanoff is the owner of Evanoff Landscape Contracting and graduated from Penn State University in 1973 with an Associate Degree in Ornamental Nursery Management.
