Mgobozi begins his second season as an assistant coach at Gannon in 2017 after recently completing a four-year collegiate playing career as a Golden Knight.
The Johannesburg, South Africa, native has also coached the last three years at the Millcreek (Pa.) Soccer Academy. He was appointed Coaching Director for the Gunners program at the academy during the summer of 2016.
Mgobozi played in 55 matches during his four-year collegiate career from 2012-15. Mgobozi received the starting nod during 44 of those contests as the defensive anchor. Despite spending the majority of his time in the back, he did produce a goal and four assists during his playing days. Mgobozi ranks 21st all-time at Gannon since 2002 in matches played and 22nd in matches started.
Mgobozi graduated from Gannon in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in marketing.
