Biography

Darby is expected to move to the midfield in 2016 after serving as one of Gannon’s starting defenders the last three seasons … enters her senior campaign 16th all-time at Gannon since 2004 in caused turnovers (41) and 22nd in ground balls (90).

2015: Was one of six Lady Knights to start all 17 matches … named a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Scholar-Athlete … received the NCAA Division II Athletics Directors Association (ADA) Academic Achievement Award … named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Roll … was one of the anchors to a Gannon defensive unit that led the PSAC in ground balls per match (22.88) … helped the defense rank fifth among conference teams in caused turnovers per match (8.53), fifth in draw controls per match (12.88), sixth in scoring defense (11.94) and sixth in scoring margin (0.71) … was part of a defensive unit that ranked eighth among all NCAA Division II programs in ground balls per match, 32nd in caused turnovers per match, 40th in draw controls per match, 41st in scoring defense and 41st in scoring margin … finished third on the team in caused turnovers (18) and fourth in ground balls (36) … scored her lone goal at West Chester … picked up a ground ball during 16 of 17 matches, including a season-high five against Indiana (Pa.) and Slippery Rock … recorded multiple ground balls in a match 11 times … caused a season-high four turnovers and secured two ground balls during an 18-7 victory against Lake Erie … created multiple caused turnovers in a match five times.
