Hunt is one of Gannon’s returning starters on defense … has started 50 of the 51 matches she has played in during the first three years of her collegiate career … enters the season 14th all-time at Gannon since 2004 in caused turnovers (33) and 15th in ground balls (94).

2012: Saw action in every match, starting 17 … named to the All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) third team … scored her first career goal during a 22-8 victory against Lake Erie … added a second goal during a 21-2 win against Tiffin … finished second on the team in caused turnovers (11) and fourth in ground balls (40) … picked up a season-high four ground balls against NCAA Division I Niagara, West Chester, Indiana (Pa.) and Tiffin … recorded at least three ground balls in a match eight times … was one of the leaders for a defense that ranked fourth among PSAC teams in scoring defense (11.17), draw controls per match (15.0) and ground balls per match (24.78).

2011: Played in 14 matches, starting all 14 … recorded 32 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers … picked up a season-high four ground balls during victories against Bloomsburg (10-8) and rival Mercyhurst (12-11) … secured at least three ground balls during a match six times … won draw controls during the regular-season finale against Mercyhurst and the PSAC quarterfinal match against East Stroudsburg … caused at least one turnover during 11 of 14 matches … forced multiple turnovers against East Stroudsburg and Mercyhurst … helped the Gannon defense rank first among PSAC teams in ground balls per match (27.72), fifth in caused turnovers per match (9.17) and sixth in goals against average (10.29) … was part of a defensive unit that ranked fourth among all NCAA Division II programs in ground balls per match, 10th in scoring defense (10.44) and 22nd in caused turnovers per match.

2010: Started every match as a true freshman … was one of 10 Lady Knights to reach the 20-ground ball plateau … recorded a season-high three ground balls against Belmont Abbey, West Chester and Indiana (Pa.) … won draw controls against Erskine and Shippensburg … caused multiple turnovers against Belmont Abbey, Lock Haven and West Chester … was part of a Gannon defense that ranked fifth among PSAC teams in goals against average (9.88) … helped the Lady Knights record a 23-0 shutout at Erskine, representing the only shutout in the PSAC.

High School: Played for head coach Laura Burger at Oswego (N.Y.) High School … was a three-year varsity letterwinner, helping Oswego qualify for the program’s first-ever sectional appearance … served as a team captain during her senior campaign … was a three-sport athlete, lettering four times in basketball and three times in volleyball … named to the all-league second team and received the Coach’s Leadership award in basketball … earned all-league honorable-mention accolades in volleyball … was a four-year scholar-athlete … helped Oswego win three consecutive league championships en route to three sectional final appearances in basketball … was a High Honor Roll Student in Scholastic Achievement four straight years.

Personal: Communication Arts major … has one brother … is the daughter of Jeanne and Ty.
