Michael Schnell

Michael Schnell

Schnell enters his first season as a member of the Gannon coaching staff, guiding the program’s tight ends.

The Lackawanna, N.Y., native was a three-year letterwinner for the Golden Knights from 2009-11. Schnell helped Gannon average 362.5 yards of total offense during the games he played in. He capped his collegiate career with playing time during a 33-27 victory against nationally-ranked Slippery Rock in his final collegiate home game. The verdict eventually knocked the Rock out of NCAA Division II Tournament contention.

Schnell graduated from Gannon in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and Marketing. He earned PSAC Scholar-Athlete honors and received the NCAA Division II Athletics Directors Association (ADA) Academic Achievement Award during his collegiate career.
