12753Mitchell is one of Gannon’s returning starters at guard as a senior in 2017-18 … transferred from NCAA Division II Ashland University of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) prior to the 2016-17 academic year … is one of six Lady Knights in program history with at least three 30-point performances despite playing only one season at Gannon.

2016-17: Was one of two Lady Knights to start all 28 games … named a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Scholar-Athlete … received the NCAA Division II Athletics Directors Association (ADA) Academic Achievement Award ... landed a spot on the All-PSAC Western Division second team … led the PSAC in free throw percentage (87.9), minutes played per game (36.75), three-point field goals made (71) and three-point field goals per game (2.54) … ranked second among conference players in free throws made (116), third in points per game (17.3), fourth in three-point field goal percentage (39.4), fifth in minutes played (1,029), seventh in three-point field goal attempts (180) and eighth in assists per game (3.7) … finished 11th among all NCAA Division II players in free throw percentage, 17th in minutes played per game, 34th in three-point field goal percentage, 49th in three-point field goals per game, 54th in points per game, 58th in three-point field goals made, 64th in minutes played, 67th in free throws made and 95th in three-point field goals attempted … produced five statistics worthy of Gannon’s all-time top-15 single-season totals – free throw percentage (third), free throws made (ninth), three-point field goals (10th), three-point field goals attempted (10th) and points (13th) … torched the nets for a season-high 33 points during an 81-71 victory at Seton Hill, becoming the eighth Lady Knight in program history to score 33 points in a game … finished 11-of-16 from the field, 7-of-9 from three-point range and 4-of-4 from the free throw line against the Griffins … added 30-point performances against Shepherd and Slippery Rock … was perfect in 10 free throw attempts against Shepherd … produced an 11-of-17 shooting chart against Slippery Rock while hitting six three-pointers … named PSAC Western Division Player of the Week twice … garnered the first honor on December 12 after recording 29 points, four assists and three rebounds during an 83-71 win against East Stroudsburg … hit a season-high eight three-points against the Warriors … took home PSAC Western Division and Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Player of the Week awards on February 6 after helping Gannon sweep a pair of games against Pitt-Johnstown (65-60) and Seton Hill (81-71) … averaged 24.5 points, 5.5 assists and 3.5 rebounds during the award week that included her 33-point effort at Seton Hill … hit five straight free throws during the final 28 seconds during a 64-63 victory against Slippery Rock, helping overcome a four-point deficit during that time span … converted her last two free throws with four seconds left to seal a one-point, come-from-behind win … generated her first career double-double with 13 points, a season-high 10 assists and six rebounds against the Rock … averaged 23.3 points, four rebounds and 2.5 assists during the final six games … reached the 20-point plateau nine times … produced double-digit points during 24 of 28 contests … grabbed a rebound in every game … dished out at least four assists in a game 16 times … hit at least four three-pointers in a contest 10 times.

2015-16 (At Ashland): Helped Ashland finish the season ranked seventh in NCAA Division II with a 31-2 record after falling in the Midwest Regional semifinals … averaged 2.5 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 27 games … shot 31.3 percent (10-32) from three-point range and 92.9 percent (13-14) from the free throw line.

2014-15 (At Ashland): Saw significant time as a true freshman, playing 28 games with seven starting assignments … averaged 3.9 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists … shot 41.7 percent (20-48) from three-point range and 90.9 percent (20-22) from the free throw line … reached double digits in scoring four times, including a career-high 24 points against Ferris State.
